From Sydney’s outskirts to South Coast working towns and holiday spots, the Curran Plumbing team has found the best coffee shops on the South Coast.
Here’s our list in order of their location from Thirroul to Berry:
Curran Plumbing’s Josh W loves a latte with shot and he rates the White Horse Coffee from Finbox in Thirroul.
Award-winning cafe Seven Miles Coffee Roaster is dedicated to making coffees where” art meets science”, and Curran Plumbing’s Joel highly recommends the Long Black Latte.
Joel also rates the latte offerings at Lee & Me, a community spirited café in the heart of Wollongong.
4. Towradji Beach Eatery, Towradji
Located in Wollongong’s seaside suburbs Towradji Beach Eatery serves coffee with ocean views. Martha from Curran Plumbing recommends everything from their ice or hot lattes to mochas and expresso shots.
Heading out of Wollongong city on the Princes Highway, Woolshed Kitchen at Yallah features an historic woolshed offering meals complemented with great coffee. Josh A. from Curran Plumbing likes their cappuccino and shot.
En route to Shellharbour on the coast or travelling further south on the highway or train line, stop at Albion Park to grab a coffee at the Three Flamingos, and you might meet some regulars who are from the Curran Plumbing team. Jack enjoys his cappuccino and shot there, Jake an almond latte and Toby an almond cappuccino and shot.
In historic seaside spot Kiama, The Hungry Monkey, Kiama serves food seven days a week, with coffee offerings including the piccolo with extra espresso shot favoured by Blake from Curran Plumbing.
The original Berry Bakery is famous for its pies cakes and breads, but also does a piping hot coffee.
Toby recommends their almond cappuccino with a shot.
The Curran team also gives an honourable mention to roadside options including Luke J’s cappuccino and extra shots at any Maccas restaurant – or Agtash’s favourite, the convenient caffeine boost of a Red Bull from any Seven Eleven store. Karina also prefers the coffee in the Curran Plumbing office.
